“Keep the Shiny Side Up”

That’s what motorcycle people sometimes say to each other instead of “ride safe” or “hope you don’t die”.  I love my bike – it’s the best mental health supplement I have.  When I pull away from the curb, all the worries and concerns of the day are left in my dust.  That is, until hear about fellow riders and good friends who got into a spill.

Hey Jeff Peters: glad to hear you had your lid on in Ohio.  I hear you finally got a “halo” – the hard way.  Just do what they tell you and get better soon.

God knows it is hard enough to get some release but speaking professionally…..there is nothing to protect you when on a motorcycle.

    I fret for you all.

Nothing to protect us? How about cat-like reflexes? Will to survive? God’s love? Fear of falling?

It’s the other driver you have no control over.

Other great advise I got was “you don’t dress for the ride… but rather the sudden dismount.”

    I like that Donna
