I'm such a home girl at heart so comfort food for me will always be the classic dishes from my mother. I truly believe we have so much to learn from our parents, grandparents (or anyone who we view in that same way), and that food and food trends, unlike many other things may progress but will never rival the simple genius of the dishes in our past.
