The best smoked meat sandwich this side of Montreal. Maybe anywhere. Zane Caplansky&#039;s hand cut, juicy, old-fashioned smoked brisket is a real treat. The cabbage borscht is now my favourite thought on chilly days and the fries are great. He even makes a mean poutine with smoked meat and cheese curds. Go now while they are still located in the Monarch Tavern and feel like you have found a secret Toronto restaurant. (Call first to make sure they haven&#039;t run out of smoked meat!)
